The penetration of the blades into the sleeve is generated by 2 separate servo drives. The servo technology allows a simple setup and optimization of the cutting process. For example, the penetration depth of the knives is calculated automatically, taking into account the operating parameters, so that the set-up time after diameter change can be considerably shortened. In addition, the motorized knife movement is gentle on tools. |
