Cutting Unit AM 244 E
Electronic cutting unit for the cutting of tubes

The cutting unit AM 244 E is the version of the standard cutting unit AM 242 E. The model AM 244 E has the same drive system, but opposed to the model AM 242 E it has a simplified mechanical cutting station. The prefered use of the AM 244 E is the production of thin-walled carboard tubes. Therefore the AM 244 E is not only suitable for the production of cardboard cores, but also for the production of long tubes in a composite can production line. Those long tubes will be processed by a convolute labelling machine AM 302 to produce convolutely labelled can bodies. |
